Great CPD – leisure property
We are currently recruiting new members to join the LPFXtra committee and would like to hear from you if you meet the criteria.
What is the LPFXtra? LPFXtra is an exciting network created for the next generation of leisure property professionals. It’s a forum that provides informal opportunities for young professionals starting out in the leisure property industry to meet contemporaries at a similar level in the industry, in a relaxed and sociable environment.
What does the committee do? The committee meets on a regular basis to discuss ideas and organise events which bring together members of the leisure community. COVID aside, we normally organise one main event per year that attracts up to 100 people, with other regular smaller events throughout the year. They are great ways to stay in contact or to discover new leisure developments. Previous events have been held at the Hippodrome Casino, Pergola Paddington, Dirty Bones Kensington, Vue Leicester Square, and Market Halls Victoria. This is in addition to less formal drop-ins at pubs across London.

What’s happened to the old members? Many of the existing committee members are part of the LPFXtra founding group and have been on the committee for five years. This means it’s time to give these members a well-deserved rest and to welcome new faces and ideas in.
What are the benefits? This is a voluntary role. Being part of the committee is an amazing opportunity to meet and work with brilliant people working in different areas of the leisure industry and to be at the heart of organising incredible events to enjoy. Your attendance at committee meetings can also contribute to your CPD.
Who can apply? Anyone working within the leisure property industry. We want a diverse group on the committee including Landlords, Operators, Agents, Solicitors, Architects and other professionals who are working within the leisure sector.
