The economy and leisure industry continue to struggle with cost inflation affecting the fit-outs of our units, the energy needed to run them and the increasing cost and continued scarcity of staff. All of which are affecting existing brands and new entrants, from operators struggling to get energy contracts to businesses securing staff to open new units.
Are costs levelling out now? Are materials available? Are energy suppliers finally providing better contracts to our operators and are staff shortages declining finally?
Inflation seems very stubborn causing concern in government and business but what is actually happening on the ground?
The Leisure Property Forum has assembled a panel of three experienced industry experts in construction, energy and recruitment. They’ll detail where the current market is and trends that they are seeing.
A short presentation by each will be followed by a moderated panel discussion.
