Victoria Gould – Senior Brand Account Manager at Landsec
Tory is a Senior Brand Manager at Landsec, in the hospitality team, and is responsible for all bar, restaurant, gym and hotel brand partner relationships across the Landsec Portfolio – including shopping centres, outlet villages, leisure parks, central London and development sites.
Prior to Landsec, Tory was a director at JLL specialising in retail and F&B consultancy and leasing in Shopping centre and transport hubs across Europe.
Landsec are one of the leading real estate companies in the UK with a portfolio worth over £10.9bn spanning over 24m sqft of well connected retail, leisure, workspace and residential hubs. They own and manage some of the most successful and memorable real estate in the UK and also have a large pipeline of mixed use urban development opportunities.

Katherine Fiander, Partner – OC&C Strategy Consultants
Katy is a Partner in OC&C’s global Leisure and Hospitality practice, based in London. She is one of the team who leads OC&Cs work in the gym and fitness space, and has supported a number of the management teams of major UK health and fitness operators as they define and shape their growth strategy, as well as supporting on M&A in the space.
OC&C is a global boutique strategy consultancy, supporting clients to answer their most difficult questions. They are sector specialists, working with a range of clients in a handful of sectors where they build deep expertise and experience across a global team – with Leisure being a key focus area.
Brendan Mitchell, Head of Acquisitions (UK) – David Lloyd Leisure
Brendan has been the Head of Acquisitions for David Lloyd Leisure in the UK since 2014 when the business had 95 clubs – it now has 132 across the UK & Europe. 2024 will see two new club openings and a further 4 start construction, alongside continued investment & innovation in the existing estate. Future growth through new openings is looking robust and is based on a 10-year horizon.
Brendan has worked in the hotel and leisure sector since graduating university (having studied Leisure Planning & Hospitality Management) and selling memberships at the Esporta Club in Oxford, before moving into an acquisitions role. He has had stints with Accor Hotels and Motel One, as well as a HNWI.
Darren Pallett, Property Director at JD Gyms Group
Darren has 30 years in the property industry under his belt, with the last 10 years specialising in the gym sector. Since 2019 he has worked with JD Gyms, part of JD PLC, to grow their national footprint to 90 gyms, and oversees their accelerated targets for future growth, with funding in place.
As Property Director his remit covers all aspects of the estates life – site acquisition, fit out and ongoing facilities maintenance, as well as equipment, and with both organic growth and corporate acquisition expertise, he brings excellent insight to our panel for this event.
Vishal Amin, CEO & Co-Founder of UNTIL
