The late night economy of pubs, bars, nightclubs and late night venues offering competitive socialising staged an impressive bounce back from the Pandemic of 2020/2021, despite being the most impacted sector by government closures and restrictions. However, new challenges have arisen with the cost of living crisis and the energy cost spike that have severely impacted the industry in the 2nd half of 2022.

New brands continue to emerge, and existing operators are having to evolve their customer offer and experience. Many more traditional leisure operators are trading into the later hours to maximise their revenues.

How does the future of the late night sector look and will regulators and the government support its recovery and growth?

The session will feature presentations from our panellists on the sector and their businesses.

We will then have a panel discussion amongst our industry experts to discuss its evolution and outlook, as well as opportunities and challenges in the market. Julie Tippins, Head Of Risk Management at DHP Family, will chair the panel discussion.

The event will finish with networking drinks.
